The owner was the highlight for us, an extremely friendly and attentive gentleman who was ready to help with anything and glad to share local tips. The guesthouse is quiet and pleasant, close to Valtice’s main square and an easy walk from the train station. Rooms are plain but practical, with towels and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The mattresses are firm, which we found comfortable, and not saggy. I’d recommend it for a short stay, an overnight stop during events in the center, or a longer visit to explore local sights. The value for the price is ideal.

We went to a nearby guesthouse for breakfast, where the service was very nice and there was enough choice. The place itself suits a couple or a group of friends looking to enjoy Moravian hospitality without needing a TV in the room. The owners are very friendly and make things easy. Rooms are clean and simply furnished, with a shared room and kitchenette. There’s also a spacious pergola with a fireplace for grilling, plus ongoing access to wine in their own cellar. You can arrange a tasting there with refreshments. I can only recommend it 👌

The hosts are wonderfully friendly and will even try to meet the most demanding requests. The accommodation is simple but clean, and I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommend it.
