It’s a peaceful, beautiful spot, and from the outside the cottage looks fine. But I came away very disappointed. The attic gets hard to ventilate on warm evenings because hornets, wasps and other pests can fly in through the windows. Why aren’t there screens? The indoor stairs also have no railing or barrier at the top, so they don’t seem suitable for small children. The hot water is another problem. It comes from an electric tap, and if someone uses water in the kitchen, the shower turns cold, no matter how much water is flowing. There’s plenty of parking on the property, but you can also park outside along the fence, beside the road. There’s more traffic than you might expect, including a bus several times a day and trucks bringing wood from the forest. They pass less than a meter from the car, and I worried that gravel might fly off the road. I arrived with a wheelbarrow and had to leave it outside.
