The station is right behind the guesthouse, and there are several grocery stores nearby, along with a pastry shop, an information center and a praline shop. I’d recommend walking to the castle and the larger praline shop. Istria restaurant is across the street and has excellent pizza. The kitchenette downstairs is well equipped, and the rooms were fine for a night’s sleep, though rather cold. The first day there was no hot water. After I contacted the manager, only lukewarm water came through, and they said the boiler had broken. There was hot water on the second day, but for the remaining days it was lukewarm again. The bathroom tile joints were moldy, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms.

We’re very grateful to Mrs. Fialová and her colleague for how kind and understanding they were about our accommodation, and for helping sort out our situation. We truly appreciate their approach and definitely recommend them. Valoško

There’s a kitchen with tables and a fridge downstairs, and a bathtub in the bathroom. It’s a good place to sleep. The main road is right there, but traffic is light at night. The bed was short for me at 190 cm, and my legs stuck out.
