We were lucky to get the last free table at 6:00 p.m. on 21.09. The whole restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was both fast and professional. We really enjoyed dinner. Take a walk through the hotel’s entire ground floor, too. There’s an interesting exhibition about events from past years, and you can learn about the history of the establishment and see which celebrities and VIP guests visited and performed here. I highly recommend the restaurant, and we’ll be glad to come back in the near future.

The host was enthusiastic and attentive when I arrived. I slept well during my pleasant one-night stay. Breakfast had lots of options and tasted great, so it was a lovely way to start the day. A well-earned 5 stars!

Restaurant review: The atmosphere is great and the service staff are well trained. The food, though, gets 0 stars. The pasta with egg from the lunch menu was especially bad. We couldn’t find any bacon in it, and it tasted like it had been cooked two days earlier. It was dry on top of that, almost enough to break your teeth 🤦🏼♀️

The hotel is right in the centre of Vimperk, with a 20 minute walk to the train station, and it’s easy to explore town on foot. I stayed with a group. The rooms were decent and clean, while the restaurant food was pretty average. Breakfast was self-service and sufficient. It was a pleasant stay all in all, though nothing special.

The room was clean enough, but breakfast was terrible and the internet didn’t work. I needed it for work, so I couldn’t do that and had to use my phone data. Reception barely spoke English, and the receptionist had to use Google Translate. Some of the reviews also seem fake, from burner accounts. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
