It looks like a plain, rather dull Czech guesthouse at first. Then you get a welcome drink, shampoo, USB chargers at the dining tables, and a breakfast spread with three kinds of hummus, cheeses, salami, and teas. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

The staff were friendly, and the place seems to be family run. My room was clean, though its furniture and fixtures were quite old and worn. It’s close to the train station but fairly quiet, set away from the main roads and tracks. The restaurant was good and the main course came with a small salad. Prices were reasonable and service was good. The apple strudel was okay, but strawberry ice cream wasn’t a good match. It also came with whipped cream on top of the hot strudel pieces, which looked nice in the photo but melted quickly, so it would probably have been better served on the side.
