Pension Kobr

Tasty food in a lovely, clean spot.

Nice place.

I spent one night here on a motorcycle trip. The room was spacious, clean, and good, and the central location was quiet with little traffic. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a great selection and was nicely arranged, even though I was the only guest that day. There are two errors in the description: it isn’t barrier-free because there’s a flight of stairs, and there’s no private parking. Public parking with a small fee is available in front of the building. Definitely recommend it. If I’m in the area again, I’d be glad to stay here.

We booked a room at Pension Kobr through Booking and had a confirmation, but the reservation was completely ignored. When we arrived, our room had been given to someone else. The owner didn’t come in person and only contacted us by phone. The parking included in the price also didn’t exist, so we had to find a spot in a paid public lot. After a lot of frustration, we were eventually placed somewhere else. The owner of the hotel where we had made the reservation arranged it after an hour and a half. You don’t book a hotel expecting to arrive and find there’s no room and nowhere to sleep. We later checked the cost of that second accommodation and it was less than what we’d paid for Pension Kobr. A complete lack of professionalism and respect for guests. Never again, and I absolutely don’t recommend it.
