A beautiful cottage.

We had a really enjoyable holiday, and it’s clear the owners look after the cottage and want their guests to be happy. The place itself is beautiful and clean, with a lovely garden, and it’s well placed for day trips. The main drawback is the road right beside it. Traffic passes constantly and is very loud at night, especially in the upstairs bedrooms, where the skylights face the road. The cottage also carries sound throughout, and the upper floors creak a lot. In very hot summer weather, sleeping upstairs was difficult because there wasn’t much chance to air out the room. Those issues didn’t spoil our stay, though.

There are lots of places to see nearby, and the cottage itself worked really well for our large group. It sleeps 18 and has plenty of kitchen utensils and garden equipment. We also made good use of the garden grill, and the spa was a great extra.

We all had a great time during our five days here. There was plenty of space for several families with children, and the location made trips around the area easy. The cottage was clean, very well equipped, and everything worked. Communication with the owners was smooth from start to finish. Nothing to complain about.

We had a lovely weekend with friends. The cottage is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos, and the surroundings are beautiful. Everything was clean, new, and well cared for. The facilities were just right, and the owner was kind and helpful. Thanks for the great service. We’d definitely come back, and I happily recommend it! 😊
