The room at the pension was clean, and there was good, secure storage for bikes. It's nicely placed in the town centre. The owner was very friendly, and breakfast was decent with more than enough to eat, including fresh berries from the forest. No dark bread, but they serve what Czechs call hemenexas, ham and eggs.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and flexible. We had a really nice stay at Pension U candru and enjoyed our time there. The restaurant only opens for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, which was the one downside, but other places to eat in the village were open, so it wasn't a big issue. I'd highly recommend it!

We only ate at the restaurant, and came back the next day just for the blueberry dumplings. They were amazing, the best I've ever had! The food was authentic and delicious, and the staff were lovely and welcoming.

It looks like a typical Czech restaurant mainly serving Austrian border visitors, but the food is genuinely good. Generous portions, reasonable prices.
