My review is only of the restaurant, and what a delight it was. The place felt like a pub renovated in the 90s and left untouched since, right down to the worn holes in the carpet that completed the rundown look. The prices seemed up to date, while the food stuck to the same old theme. Half a chicken breast came with packet chanterelle sauce, a few rocket leaves, and frozen chips. The pizza had one onion ring, four slices of very cheap ham, and cheese that was barely melted but somehow congealed. The waitress called the chicken schnitzel a child's portion, though it wasn't meant to be one. The saving grace was the chicken tortilla, which my daughter loved.
