The room was spacious and really nice, with a kitchenette and a lovely bathroom, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food, especially the pork chops, which were my favorite of what we ordered. The menu was only in Czech, but our waiter did his best to translate it for us. The hot chocolate had cooled to about room temperature, though it was still delicious. Breakfast was a standard European mini-buffet, with scrambled eggs available too. Five stars from me.

Pets are welcome here, and it’s a lovely spot for lunch or dinner. The meat was seasoned really well, and the food felt lighter than what you often find in the Czech Republic. They even grow their spices in their own garden. :)

The service was quick and friendly, and they made dessert in-house. The menu is short, with prices around 150-250 CZK, but the dishes have character. This is what a restaurant should be like, and it stands out from the touristy places to eat near Cesky Krumlov.
