The guided tour was fascinating and looked beautiful, and the family-owned wine cellar “cave” has an impressive range of wines. The owner is warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about his work. The food is delicious and authentic, based on his mother’s recipes. He’s also an author and has created his own board game, which made the visit feel like much more than just a meal.

The host was wonderful, and there’s a great range of local wines in a really interesting place. Unlike many wineries in the region, you can get here by car, and it stays open when the others are closed.

Nixe Placebo, nice people and good food. The owner left too early, so we ran out of wine pretty soon. A short evening. :-(
