The food was good, but Christmas dinner service was horrible. The head waiter was yelling and even screaming at the restaurant staff, was rude to people, and put us at the wrong table. Everything felt hectic and unpleasant. One person at our table went out to smoke, and I joined him. We didn’t realize the waiter who’d been shouting at everyone had taken our chairs away to seat other people. The rest of our table came out to get us. We left shortly afterward. It was so rude, and we won’t be back.

A lovely setting, a menu I really like, and waiters who are friendly and attentive. The service was super. My favorite is their French Onion Soup, and the salad bar is great.

The room was nice and big, and the hotel is exceptionally clean. The strong soap smell in the hallway and room was the only downside. After two days, my nose had more or less got used to it. Breakfast is included, with a good, healthy selection. The restaurant is always busy, but there are plenty of waiters. No one wears a mask now. A few minutes’ walk away, Milchstübchen sits right by a beautiful pasture, and you can buy fresh milk, vegetables, and more.

Everyone liked the food, and having a small room to ourselves helped a lot. We went there for lunch after a funeral, and it’s an easy four-minute walk away.
