The sunset view over the lake, vineyards, and distant rolling hills was fabulous. For dinner, you can pick from a set menu of three to five courses with matching wines, or order à la carte, and either way you won't be disappointed. David's Menu is my favorite: Sparglecremesuppe, seared octopus tentacle with a delicately cooked scallop, and lamb were the highlights for me. I picked my own wines, starting with a glass of Burgundy Trocken Weisswein and then a glass of full-bodied 2015 Lemberger dry with the lamb. Definitely an experience to have while visiting the Heilbronn district in Baden Württemberg.

The view across the valley is gorgeous, with Lake Breiternauer See and vineyards along the hills. Set on the hillside of Obersulm (Loewenstein), it's a beautiful place to visit, with friendly people and great meals. A must-see.

We had a lovely lunch with an amazing view. The house wine is a nice touch, and the service was warm. The vegetarian choices were good too.
