Pension Breitenauer See

It's a very quiet spot, and you can jog straight through the vineyards next door. The apartment is fairly new, modern, and great to stay in, with a large TV connected to the network and Netflix for rainy days. There's a Nespresso machine, so bring your own capsules. The host was friendly. More places to hang towels would help, and the Wi-Fi is unusable.

Mr. Poggel made room for me for a whole week after I called very spontaneously because my booking elsewhere had been cancelled. He quickly rearranged things and was always available, making my stay as pleasant as possible. He felt more like a host than a guesthouse owner, and I highly recommend him and Pension Breitenauer See. The room has plenty of storage, fast Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen with more than just the basics. It suited the rural setting while still offering modern comforts. Lake Breitenau is an easy walk away, and there are great options for hiking, cycling, and sightseeing. Löwenstein Castle is about an hour on foot or seven minutes by car. Shops, snack bars, pharmacies, and doctors are also easy to reach by car. Coffee drinkers, there's a Nespresso machine in the room. Bring your own capsules!

The setting is stunning, perfect for enjoying country life and getting away from everyday stress. Rooms and apartments are clean and furnished in a lovely modern style, and the host is wonderful. Everything you need is there and the prices are fair. We'll definitely come back! :-)

It's a simple, modern place with excellent equipment, including a fully working kitchenette in every room. There are several outdoor spots to sit and relax in the evening, plus a little rock garden with a barbecue area. The one downside is that it's very noisy.
