The main disappointment was breakfast. It cost €42 for two people, which felt very expensive, especially given the quality. The hot dishes were overcooked and unappealing. After travelling across Europe for two weeks, I'd seen similar selection elsewhere for €12-15 per person, and the food was much nicer. The hotel itself has a lot of charm. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and functional. Parking isn't great: it's a long walk over gravel from the car to the hotel, which isn't convenient with wheeled luggage. The courtyard would be nice for drinks, but it needs more care because quite a few things looked overgrown. The bar and evening menu looked good.

A short stroll through the inner courtyard takes you into the Altstadt, then down cobbled streets to a wooded park around a lake. It's a great spot for a morning run. The hotel sits by the old town wall and feels full of old-world charm, set in a small park. Our room was lovely, with a modern bathroom, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the service terrific.

I've stayed at this amazing Hotel in Bedburg, and the standard is high throughout. The staff are consistently friendly and professional, and the rooms feel comfortable and peaceful. I especially liked having a smart TV in my room, so I could keep up with my Netflix series and YouTube documentaries.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff, and we enjoyed dinner. The breakfast selection was very limited, though, and €15 per person was far too much for what was offered.
