Gästehaus Engelgasse

The only real hassle was parking, since there are basically six street spaces. Otherwise, the location in the old town is lovely, with its laid-back charm. Several good restaurants are nearby, including Carlo's, the best ice cream parlor. There's not much nightlife, but that's part of Herzogenaurach's peaceful feel. My wife and I stayed for four days. Our room was clean, and there was a nice little Zen garden out back. Breakfast was standard fare, with fresh fruit, Brötchen and cold cuts, cereal, and eggs cooked any style by the owner. Free WiFi, too.

It's in a pretty little town, and there are enough parking spaces nearby. This is a very nice, friendly guesthouse, with clean rooms and a very good breakfast.

I chose this guesthouse because it was close to the customer I was visiting for a workshop. It was quiet and very clean, and a great base for walks in the city center. The staff, including the owners, made me feel at home, and I really enjoyed my stay.

The village is really beautiful and has lots of nice restaurants. Check-in was easy with a keybox, the rooms were nice, and the beds comfortable. Friendly staff, a lovely garden to relax in, and a nice breakfast. Perfect!
