Parkhotel Quellenhof Aachen

The hotel and our room were beautifully decorated, and we were upgraded to the signature room. On a really hot day, we made use of the indoor swimming pool. Service was excellent, and the staff were professional and friendly. I took off one star for service because we'd hoped to have a special cocktail on a warm evening, but were told the cocktail menu wasn't available in summer. Apart from that, everything was perfect for our stay, and we'll definitely return when we're in Aachen.

The indoor pool was amazing, and it was handy having the elevator go straight down to the spa. Our room on the third floor was quiet and clean, with a really comfortable king bed. The grounds are kept in great shape, and everyone we met was warm and welcoming. It’s about a 25-minute walk from the train station, though we took a cab back and the drive was around seven minutes. A lovely hotel, and one we’d recommend if you’re in town.

We really liked the hotel’s old-school, high-class feel, with its big lounges and a restaurant and bar. There’s also a gym and spa with a nice pool, plus closed parking for a fee. The location works well for exploring Aachen’s old town. Our room was quiet and lovely, breakfast was high quality, and we enjoyed the restaurant and spa. The staff at reception, in the restaurant and breakfast area, and at the spa were all top-notch.

A direct bus runs from the station every half hour, and once you’re here, everything worth seeing and doing in Aachen is within walking distance. The facilities are great, the room was roomy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
