Hotel Prinzregent München

We were in town for the ISPO fair, and the hotel was a very convenient short walk from the venue. Our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was very good, and the owners and female staff were so friendly that we really felt the family atmosphere. They were lovely to us and our baby. We did have a frustrating experience trying to get extra bottled water late one evening. Our newborn is formula-fed, and we'd forgotten to buy more while we were out. Around 9pm, I waited about 20 minutes at the bar while the waiter chatted with another guest. I was there alone with the baby, who was getting upset, so I asked again politely. He told me to wait and seemed annoyed. The bottle eventually arrived, but it cost €7.50 for 75cl. That felt excessive for plain mineral water, especially when even half that price would have seemed reasonable and the baby stayed for free.

Our train was cancelled, so we booked this hotel on the spur of the moment. Esme at reception gave us a lovely welcome, and the staff were very helpful. The room was large, clean, and had everything we needed. We were there for just one night, but we'd happily return.

I really liked getting away from the noise and tourist crowds here. The hotel is small and peaceful, with an on-site restaurant, and the room was spacious with lovely views from the windows. It has an authentic German style, and the staff were attentive and accommodating. There's a short drive to the autobahn and a shopping mall nearby. Across the street you'll find a takeaway place and a pub, but otherwise there's not much around.

Hotel Prinzregent and its team were such a lovely find just outside the city. We were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived, and everyone we met went out of their way to make our stay great. The room was clean and roomy, and there were some really delicious choices at the restaurant. Dankeschön Prinzeregent! We'd love to visit again soon.
