At Haus Heimgarten in Bad Wiessee, my husband and I felt completely at ease. The hosts work together so well and put so much heart into running their guesthouse. Everything was perfect. The rooms were cozy, beautifully furnished in Bavarian style, and spotlessly clean. It's a quiet, central spot, just a few minutes from Lake Tegernsee. The hostess was warm and attentive, looked after us with care, and shared great tips. In the morning, the host treated us to a wonderful breakfast. Those crispy fried eggs were unbeatable! Thank you both for such unforgettable days. ❣️

The short walk to the bus and boat docks was especially handy, and gluten-free breakfast is available if you ask. The owners run the house themselves, and the hosts are extremely friendly and glad to tell you about local attractions. Our room was spacious and functionally furnished, with a large balcony overlooking the Alpine landscape. Highly recommended.

We spent rainy spells relaxing in the separate lounge, with its comfortable armchairs, books, and tables. The garden was lovely too, with loungers to stretch out on. Our room, number 14, had two single beds, lots of space, a separate living room, and a balcony. It was clean and serviced every day, and we felt very welcome thanks to the incredibly friendly hosts. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty to choose from. Even the many coat hangers were a nice touch. 👍 Thanks for everything.

The Lüftenegger family made time for chats and told us about interesting places to see. They were incredibly helpful, and we were sad to leave when our vacation ended. We'd love to return again and again. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily, and breakfast was fresh and had everything we could wish for. They'd ask how we wanted our eggs, and even the soft-boiled egg came with a handwritten "Good morning" on its shell. Fantastic, that's Bavaria for you! The bus stop is right outside, which is ideal, especially after a few steins of beer. The tourist card from the Heimgarten guesthouse let us ride the bus free as often as we liked, and gave us discounts on things like admission fees and the Wallberg gondola lift at Tegernsee. We were greeted by name as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, and the welcome was incredibly warm. Book this house, it's absolutely worth it when you feel so looked after and want for nothing. We had two rooms, each with a bathroom, bedroom, living and dining room, and balcony. The guesthouse is an easy walk from the Medical Park Clinic. It's a lovely little place, run by a very friendly couple who always had a good outing tip for us. Breakfast was delicious.
