Hotel Hirschenstein

The Activ Card being included this year made us decide to book straight away. It’s a real bonus and saves quite a bit on admission fees. We were also impressed by the food, which was truly delicious. We stayed in a new junior suite with our child, and the bed was very comfortable. There’s a small pool available anytime, and parking right outside. The hotel is centrally placed for trips to Bodenmais and St. Englmar, both about 25 minutes away. It was our first stay here, and we’ll come back!

The Aigner family and the whole team made us feel almost like family during a very difficult visit for a funeral and clearing an apartment. The hotel’s quiet setting helped us rest, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was plentiful, and the half-board meals were delicious. We were especially touched that the restaurant opened just for us after the funeral so we could share lunch. Everyone was attentive and kind, and the Aigner family was always ready for a friendly chat. Special thanks to "Grandpa" Ludwig, Hannelore, Michael, and Christine :-). We felt very cared for and would love to return in happier circumstances.

Our family spent the second week of the Easter holidays at Happy.Hirsch Hotel Hirschensteiner in the Bavarian Forest, and it was a wonderful stay. The children loved being close to the animals and watching them get fed. We also made good use of the ActivCard, which covered many attractions and added a lot of value. The team was dedicated, the food outstanding, and the service warm and attentive. We’d love to come back to relax and enjoy ourselves again.
