We came on a bus tour from the Netherlands and stayed for three nights. The breakfast was generous and tasty. I had to stop myself from going back for a third serving! The rooms were great, simple and nice, and the bathrooms had soap in tubes, which was new to me. There's a TV, but the programs are in German. Internet gets weaker the farther you are from reception. Berlin's center is about a 40-minute drive away. We also had a three-course meal through the tour package. It wasn't bad, and I was full. You can order food separately too.

The rooms are okay, and the service was fine, but dinner was only acceptable and quite basic. Breakfast was basic as well, with very dry bread and boiled eggs that looked as if they'd been made the night before. The showerheads were really dirty. It's also quite a long way from Berlin.

The room was clean and basic, and the staff were friendly. Parking is free. But the WiFi is a real problem: your phone shows full bars, yet you can't download or stream anything. The city center is about an hour away, so it's not a great base if you're visiting Berlin.
