The family room was spacious, with a separate bedroom, comfortable beds, and a balcony overlooking the lake. It would be a lovely place to sit in warmer weather. Everything was clean and tidy, and there were complimentary bottles of water and tea bags in the kitchen. The shower pressure was good, too. Breakfast was very nice, and the young man working in the breakfast room and reception was friendly. He even remembered the day before that we wanted to borrow a vacuum cleaner for our vacuum bags, and had one ready on our checkout morning. The location worked well for getting around: the train station is across the road, with connections to nearby towns and free local train travel through the guest card when staying multiple nights. There’s also a supermarket less than a five-minute walk away and several restaurants nearby. It was a very comfortable stay, though the station noise could be heard because it’s so close. Parking may be a tight squeeze when the hotel is full, and the bathroom window curtains felt like an afterthought. The price was on the high side, although family rooms in the area were in short supply when we booked.

We only stopped for one night while passing through and wished we could have stayed a whole week. Stefan has clearly put a lot of care into the guest house, and everything was clean and well kept. The breakfast was lovely, with fresh, good-quality ingredients. We had our baby with us, and they arranged a few little extras to make things easier. Stefan also had a good Corona measures concept in place. We couldn't recommend the place more highly.

The rooms were great and everything else seemed fine, but the staff member's rudeness has stuck with me ever since, especially the manager's wife. She was rude and unprofessional toward us as customers. I don't recommend it.

The website lets you send a room request whether or not a room is available, and says they'll get in touch afterward. I filled it in but never heard back. When I arrived, I called and was told there were no rooms available, then they hung up. Their lack of communication was disappointing. Thanks for the reply. It really shows how you communicate with customers and the kind of hospitality you offer. :)

A comfortable, well-equipped guesthouse with excellent continental breakfasts. There isn't any dining on site, but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.
