Breakfast was a letdown: very little to choose from, and the coffee tasted strange, as if the cup hadn’t been rinsed properly after washing. My room smelled damp and musty too, and it felt like the house wasn’t heated at all. At reception, an older lady greeted me with behavior that sometimes came across as passive-aggressive. She made odd faces and raised her voice for no clear reason. From the start, the place felt less like a hotel and more like an older, neglected house that had seen better days. There was a noticeable damp, musty smell as soon as I walked in. My stay didn’t meet my expectations, and I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation.

We were a group of four, and everyone was so nice. The food was great too. We’ll definitely go back.

The prices are reasonable, and the location works well for trips around Upper and Lower Bavaria. The country inn is as described, with comfortably furnished rooms and regional food. You’ll feel right at home.

We had dinner downstairs. My dish was fine and, most importantly, nice and hot. Breakfast the next morning was buffet-style, with a good selection and tasty food. The rooms were simple, spacious, and clean, which I really appreciate. It was quiet, and the owner was friendly. The house dogs greet you too. There was no air conditioning, but the fan we brought made it manageable. Fine for an overnight stay 👍.
