The shrine was what brought us here, and I'm grateful to HER for leading us to this place while we looked toward her shrine. There are crucifixes and icons of Our Lady throughout the halls and bedrooms, and parking was available too. Everyone was super friendly, including our waiter, who didn't speak English but was so warm and sweet. Dinner was awesome, real Bavarian food. For 68 euros, we got a big room, a nice big bath, and lovely bedding. We think breakfast was included, though we're pretty sure rather than certain. Such a surprise for the price. I can't read German, so I don't know what the low ratings were about. We love it.

I had a really enjoyable stay. The only thing that felt a little dated was some of the furnishings, but that didn't bother me. The rooms were clean, and the accommodation was comfortable and affordable. It's right in the center, just steps from the Chapel of Grace. The restaurant is great, the staff are friendly, and breakfast is generous and delicious.

The terrace had a lovely atmosphere, and the restaurant food was excellent. It came out promptly, and the staff were friendly. I had a very pleasant time and would gladly come back when I'm in Altötting again. The one drawback is that the restrooms are downstairs in the basement, which isn't ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but that's how it is.
