This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in during all my travels. The bathroom alone looked like it could give you tetanus, and it seemed like repairs were partly underway, with paper tape on the ceiling and a strong acetone smell. Both lamps beside the bed were missing their bulbs, and the ceiling light was bare with no cover. The switches and furniture looked about 40 years old, in a bad way. The WiFi was available, but useless.

It could suit someone who likes nostalgia, but the hotel needs renovating.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station 🚊 and a quiet place overall. The room was very clean, the food was great, and the staff were friendly. Five stars from me ⭐️, I’d definitely recommend it 🙂. Keep up the good work, guys, and thank you 🙏.

Dogs are treated like guests here too! It’s a quaint old hotel in the historic town centre, with lovely, friendly staff who are happy to help.
