We stayed in the large garden, where there’s a hammock, lounge chairs and a barbecue, and found it great for a family holiday. There are playgrounds all around, and the friendly local community is just a few meters away. The apartments are in charming Amtzell, a few kilometers from Lindau and lots of historical sites and natural attractions. The house is spotless, comfortable and simply but warmly furnished. Owners and brothers Tilo and Dietmar were very helpful, sharing tips on traditional restaurants and good pastry shops nearby. Highly recommended!

I had a first-floor apartment for a few days while I was in Amtzell. The place is lovingly furnished, and everything was easy from start to finish. My reservation was arranged for me, then I used a PIN to collect the key at the apartment door. Wi-Fi is an extra booking, and there are several holiday flats in the building. Parking is behind the house, and there’s a small balcony by the entrance. The landlord was friendly and helpful, and we sorted everything out easily on WhatsApp.
