Villa Wende by Callsen

We came with the whole family and booked a two-bedroom apartment. The photos of Villa Wende looked promising, but seeing it in person was even better. It's a traditional house with real character, and the interior had everything we wanted. The rooms are bright and well laid out, with high-quality furniture and appliances. It worked perfectly for us as a family, and we could cater for ourselves. The beach is close, and the spa gardens and pier were easy to reach on foot.

We stayed in one of the maisonette apartments, and even in autumn it felt bright and pleasant. The building was fully booked for the holiday season, yet it was still cozy and pleasantly quiet. Mr. Callsen provided friendly, personal service. Villa Wende was worth every penny, with four stars that lived up to their promise, beautiful architecture, and charming, stylish furnishings. The location in Binz is great, with the beach and spa gardens close by, guest parking, and quick access to the Granitz forest and other places on Rügen. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Mr. Callsen welcomed us himself and handed over the keys, which made the place feel familiar and personal. The apartment exceeded our expectations, with high-quality furnishings and a tasteful finish. Its location is perfect, and the bathroom is well above average, with a large shower and a window. There's a supermarket and bakery just around the corner, and the beach is only a few minutes away. Villa Wende is one of the best places we've come across on our travels.

My uncle, aunt, and cousin lived in Villa Wende during the GDR era, and my family often vacationed there on the Baltic Sea. All of those relatives have passed away. It's nice that everyone likes the place. A side trip to Putbus is worthwhile too.
