The hotel is just off Andernach Town Square, where there are plenty of places to eat and drink, many with outdoor tables in summer. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though there’s no air conditioning, so ours got warm at night. Luckily, all the windows open for cooler air. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Thanks to the team for getting up an hour early to feed us before our early weekend event. The car park is a short walk away, and the hotel reception validates the plastic chip. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was very good, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room was clean, yet the worn-out mattress left both of us in a lot of pain the next morning, which made for a difficult day. There was just one very flat pillow, practically like having none. We hadn’t realized we could get another one down the hall because we had to read the instructions, and who wants to go searching in pajamas after finding the pillow is no good? Every other hotel we stayed in had two good pillows. Parking was a distance away. We arrived after 6 pm and needed a code, but no one was there to help if anything went wrong.

The place was spotless, and the owners were so friendly they even lent us a car seat for our child. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended.

The rooms were clean, friendly, and well appointed, and the location and price were both good. I couldn’t find the parking garage, so I parked opposite. If you’re driving, it may be worth asking about parking beforehand.

A lovely hotel in a charming historic town. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good.
