The annex rooms are fairly basic, but they’re clean, pleasant, and practical. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the meals are nice and reasonably priced. They also have some really good dark beers.

A lovely place in a lovely town, and very clean with a traditional feel. The hospitality and breakfast were good, and dinner and the pub were enjoyable too. The room was quiet and very comfortable. Great value for the price, especially for an overnight stop.
