Exenbacher Hof - Pension

There’s plenty nearby for shopping, hiking, or skiing, and the forest starts right outside. The farm animals, from alpacas and chickens to goats and cows, can be met and petted. The family is lovely, the place is very clean, and the fresh eggs and daily bread delivery are great. Good value, too, and dogs are welcome. We’d happily return. Thanks so much, Jana Hell.

We stayed in the "Herbst" apartment for a relaxed week with three adults, one child, and two dogs. The Achatz family were attentive, helpful, and friendly, and it mattered to me that the cows, alpacas, goats, chickens, and cats all seemed well cared for. The fresh eggs from the hens were delicious, and the bread roll delivery was a lovely extra. For anything else, Edeka in town is about a seven-minute drive away. We also had a great meal at "Fräulein Anna". The staff were friendly and the food was good, and the restrooms are worth a look. Metal fans especially should check it out. We'd be glad to return for another break from everyday life.

We keep coming back, and the place is still a treat for both children and adults. The kids love playing on the farm and call it "one of the most beautiful places on earth." We enjoy how peaceful and clean it is, along with the fresh rolls and eggs. Being able to charge our electric car here is a nice extra.

We had a good chance to unwind here, and visits to the stable were possible. The hosts are very friendly, with fresh eggs and bread rolls delivered each day. Simply great.
