Hotelpark Stadtbrauerei

The breakfast buffet and restaurant food were both great, and the staff were very friendly. Our bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was fine for a couple of nights. There’s no lift to the second floor. All in all, a positive stay.

The restaurant was fine and breakfast was very good. The rooms weren’t modern, but they were clean. During the night, a drunk guest was brought to bed. The night watchman didn’t speak German and spoke very poor English. Later there was a fire alarm, but we didn’t hear anything from the hotel during the night, and there was no information the next morning.

We chose this place for the bowling alley and beer, and the room was modern, very nice, and quiet on the third floor. Parking is free in the open area in front and beside the building. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Breakfast was good, though it was served in a huge hall with only one other guest besides us. We felt lost in all that space. The hotel is more like a conference center, and it’s on the outskirts of town, about a 10-minute walk from the center. We stayed for two nights.

We were in the area on an official trip and had a very good experience during our short stay. The rooms are nicely designed, and the staff were friendly and competent. A few small details, like the bed front, could be improved. Because of the limited time and the pandemic situation, we couldn’t see more of the hotel, such as the swimming pool or breakfast. We’d give it 9.7 out of 10. Many thanks 🤗
