I've stayed here several times and always had a great time. This visit, the fireplace in suite Liz was out of order because of broken glass. It's not the end of the world, but I wish they'd told me ahead of time and given me a discount. The location and employees are great.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and themed, and breakfast was lovely. The staff were superb with me and my colleagues despite our limited German. It's right in the historic old town in Aschaffenburg. I'll come back with the Mrs in the summer.

The owner speaks fluent English and made us feel very welcome. This beautifully renovated one bedroom unit is in the old part of town, near the castle, river, and town centre. It has a sofa bed, sauna, full luxury bathroom, extra toilet and shower, a small kitchen with mini fridge and stove top, and a gorgeous balcony. Highly recommend it as a base for exploring Aschaffenburg and surrounds.

My room was perfectly clean, and while the night wasn't cheap, it was worth it. Parking isn't easy in this area, but there's a car park building nearby. Breakfast was absolutely good. They didn't offer Ham and Eggs, so I didn't ask for it.
