We look forward to coming back every year. It’s a lovely place to stay, with a wonderful landlady, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. The apartment feels like home, and the location is peaceful while still being central.

You can buy the host’s colorful eggs, fresh from his own hens, and the milk comes from the farmer just around the corner. We’ve already booked our next visit. This was a wonderful stay, from hearing the cuckoo call to having breakfast on the balcony and taking in the view. You start missing it as soon as you get in the car to head home. The hosts were the best, and the apartment was spacious, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed.

We had mountain views from the terrace, and there’s plenty to do nearby. Lake Chiemsee is an 8-minute drive, while Austria is about 35 km away. There are lots of SUP rental shops at the lake. We also thought the Wimmbachklamm gorge and the Klobenstein suspension bridge were must-sees. The Wendelstein cable car is highly recommended too, and you can hike up to the summit cross. The vacation apartment was beautiful and very clean, with all the essentials, including a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and dishwasher. The hosts were very friendly.

The landlord was very friendly, and we had everything we needed in the spacious, fully equipped rooms. Fresh bread rolls are a 12-minute walk away in the village, and there’s parking right outside the door.
