Getting into the hostel was a mess. They sent me the wrong code for the key, none of the phone numbers they gave me worked, and reception was shut even during its stated opening hours. I contacted booking.com and spent 45 minutes on the phone before I finally got the key. Later, between 10 pm and 1 am, someone was banging on the walls and making noises like they were assembling furniture with a hammer while we were trying to sleep. In the morning, a group of older drunk people had gathered right outside the entrance, which made us feel very unsafe. The worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve never been put through such an embarrassing situation. I was already on my way when they canceled my reservation just moments before check-in, so I had to find another hotel and pay more. The place looked cheap at first, but the stress and extra cost made it anything but. I wouldn’t have chosen it if I’d read the reviews beforehand. I’ve hired a lawyer and am going to court.

They canceled my booking for no reason just before check-in, while I was on my way to the hotel. I got lost with my family, and I’m now seeking legal remedies over what happened. They show no commitment to their guests. I’d look for somewhere else, even if it costs more, to avoid trouble while traveling.

The towels they gave us were wet, and the bathrooms were filthy and moldy. There wasn’t even a fan in the rooms. The neighborhood also looked ugly and dangerous. Terrible place, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The building itself didn’t make a great first impression, but once inside the hostel, things were really good. It all looks fairly new, and while the room is small, it’s fine if you’re not planning to spend all day there. It even has a balcony. The place was clean, the staff were nice, and I’d book again.
