The rooms were dirty, and the smell inside was so bad that we took our coffee outside instead of sitting in the breakfast area. The place also felt neglected, old and uncomfortable, with extremely rude, unfriendly staff. Breakfast was awful too: dry, burnt ham with the eggs, and everything seemed very low quality. Some staff acted carelessly and unprofessionally, making an already bad stay worse. You can see some of these conditions in the photos I uploaded.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and it’s a lovely spot for a group. Rooms are quite basic, though: there are no toiletries, and you need to bring your own towels too. Towels are available to rent for a fee.

The rooms are clean, the location is good and breakfast is included. Those parts were great. My two main issues were the noise, which felt impossible to control, and the price. In my opinion, it’s very expensive. Even ordinary places sometimes offer student discounts, but this youth hostel doesn’t, and on top of the high price, there’s an extra membership fee.

My friend was injured because of negligence and poor maintenance. This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, so stay well away.

The only thing missing for me was some extra little touches to make it a full five stars. Otherwise, the hostel had everything we needed, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the area. I was there for one night with my family, and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were nice and gave us all the information before we even had to ask. Everything was very clean, and the system worked really well.
