Die Villa

The breakfast was freshly made, generous, and we had plenty of time to enjoy it at our own pace. Wi-Fi was available, and the villa and our room were clean and in very good shape, inside and out. Our room felt comfortable, and that marble staircase is hard to describe. The owner treated us very well, and I'm sincerely grateful. We were very satisfied and may come back. We stayed from July 21st to 23rd and were welcomed warmly.

The room was huge, spotless, and had everything we could need, with large, very comfortable beds and a lovely marble bathroom. It was so quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic, with everything from coffee and fresh rolls to salmon. The woman in charge even shared some of the villa's history. From the detailed, calm explanation at reception to the marble staircase and beautiful atmosphere, we were impressed as soon as we walked in. We arrived September 9th and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

The old villa has a distinctive feel and the place looked well cared for. We ate there on June 29, 2012, as a group of six using three gourmet passes, and the food was delicious, so compliments to the chef. The problem was the portions: there was hardly anything on our plates, and even the women in our group who were watching their weight made another meal at home. With prices that steep, that's a no-go. A bit more food on the plate would make this a hit with guests.

We spent one night there and skipped breakfast. The house is charmingly furnished, just as its name suggests. We'd be happy to return.
