We had booked for the weekend, but left right away because it was impossible to get some quiet. Our basement room was beside the family's son's workshop, and we could hear every step upstairs as well. In the morning, before 7, the family noise woke us. Before 9, the son was back hammering and drilling beside the room where we wanted to eat breakfast. When we asked him to stop, he said, "Well, you're awake." He did stop after we clearly told him we needed peace and quiet. The night before, he'd been hammering metal, welding, and using other equipment until 9:45 p.m., only stopping after we spoke to him. The workshop fan then kept running loudly until 10:45. We couldn't reason with Mrs. Müller either. She felt attacked and said that if we wanted peace and quiet, we should pay more and go to a hotel. To her, all of this was normal noise and normal behavior toward guests.

The basement internet was poor enough that streaming in the evenings wasn't possible. The technology there could use an upgrade. Still, this was a lovely long weekend: the hostess was very nice, our room and bathroom were excellent, and the beds were sensational. Breakfast was excellent too. The location was great, with very tasty restaurants in town an easy walk away. Definitely a thumbs up overall!

There wasn't a wardrobe, and the welcome felt cool and rather brief.

Very basic, and right in the middle of a family home.
