Landgasthaus Engel

Cosy place, and the host was lovely and very friendly.

Good traditional German food in a homey setting is what you'll find here. The burgers were amazing, and those fries were the best I've ever had. The food is freshly prepared, with much of it coming from the farm. The rustic country-style restaurant sits off the B500 outside Waldshut, with plenty of parking. You can eat in the cozy dining room or, in spring and summer, sit outside in the beer garden. If this isn't your kind of place, the company's food truck can also be booked for events.

I spent two days at the country inn, breakfast included, and felt well looked after. I especially appreciated how thoughtfully they handled my vegan diet. They offered suitable alternatives and even made an extra effort to get something special for me. That kind of consideration and dedication meant a lot. Thank you so much!

It's great that places like this are still around in the Black Forest. The food was amazing, and the quality was five-star-plus. For what you get, the value is fantastic. We'll be back and recommend you 100%. Thank you!
