Arthotel ANA Fleur

Check-in was quick and easy even though I arrived half an hour early, and checking out was even simpler. The hotel is close to the city center, and the room was pretty and very clean. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, with some lovely restaurants and bars nearby. I especially liked Cafe Lenz, just around the corner. There was a nice range at breakfast, and the staff were very accommodating. All in all, a really nice stay.

The room wasn’t very big, but it suited what I needed for a work trip. The location was brilliant, just a few minutes on foot from the center, the park, and lots of restaurants. I hadn’t expected breakfast to be so good. There was plenty to choose from, including bread, cold cuts, jams, snacks, hot drinks, and milk alternatives. They also had a handy way to say you didn’t need your room cleaned the next day, and then pick up a free bottled drink at reception. A nice incentive for guests to be more environmentally friendly.

The rooms are nice and quiet, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very near the center, so you can walk to the main sights, and the bus stop is only 3-5 minutes away on foot. Two things bothered me: the double bed is made from two singles, leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle, though a gap filler could fix it. Also, the blankets are too small for someone over six feet tall. Even so, I’d recommend the hotel and would stay here again on my next visit to Paderborn.

The location in the historic center of Paderborn was a real plus, and the breakfast was very nice. The rooms were lovely, and the staff did everything they could to help. We made a couple of requests during our stay and they went well beyond what we expected. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Paderborn.
