Hotel Restaurant Lamm

I had no heat in my room for two nights, even though the restaurant itself is great. During cleaning, the crew opens the window and switches off the heating, and I think they forgot to turn it back on. After midnight there’s no heating at all, so if you return after 23:00 and switch it on yourself, you’ll still be freezing overnight.

The breakfast charge is applied whether you eat the cheese and ham slices or not, unless you cancel it beforehand, which is apparently how the “breakfast not included” option works. The rooms look, feel, and smell old, and seem to be at least 30 years without renovation. Staff were unfriendly, almost xenophobic. I’d avoid this place unless it’s an emergency.

The food was really good.

Dinner was a highlight for us. The food was tasty, freshly made, and nicely presented, and the service was warm, attentive, and professional from the start. At Hotel Restaurant Lamm, the rooms are compact but cleverly laid out, so they feel more spacious than expected. The bathroom looked modern and recently renovated, with stylish, quality fittings, and the whole place felt very well kept, almost like new. We had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. I’d recommend the hotel and restaurant wholeheartedly.
