I could watch the storks’ nest across the street from my bathroom window, which was such a fun detail. My room was small but cosy, with a working guitar built into the wall. The hotel has a lovely little feel, the staff are super friendly, and breakfast was perfect. Great burgers too, with a Rock’n’Roll vibe. I’d recommend it and stay again.

The waitress made the visit especially good. She was cheerful and friendly throughout, knew the menu and ingredients well, and clearly enjoyed talking us through it. We were too full to try dessert, though the ones we saw looked delicious. Our food came out quickly, and there’s plenty of seating inside plus some outside. We started with freshly popped salty popcorn. The menu has burgers to suit different tastes and diets, and the pea-based vegan burger matched the meat one for flavour and texture, maybe even topped it. I also loved the burger with “Kässpätzle” buns, a Swabian take on mac and cheese. Portions are already generous, with 400gr or 600gr patties if you’re really hungry. It’s a charming spot with a classic US American diner look and understated decorations, all adding to a pleasant atmosphere. A great place for fresh, tasty burgers that feel a bit different.

The burgers are great, the beer is good, and I liked the original way the hotel and rooms are decorated. Not every room has AC, but I never needed it and had a pleasant stay.

I came with colleagues for a Christmas dinner and the food was excellent, with really friendly service. Now that I’ve found this place, I’ll come back with my family.
