Backpacker Hostel Bremen

I booked one bed in a six-bed dorm for a night and was pleased with the stay. The staff were genuinely friendly and informal, and helpful when needed. The room, showers, and toilets were clean, with plenty available, though there weren't many guests either. I didn't use the kitchen or common areas, so I can't really comment on those. The only downside is the neighborhood, which is considered a bad part of town, even if it isn't dangerous. I'd definitely recommend the hostel to budget travelers looking for fun. Auf Wiedersehen!

On my first trip to Bremen, I picked GastHaus because it's an easy walk from the central station. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room felt like home and was very comfortable, and I loved how clean the shower and toilet were. I'll absolutely stay at GastHaus again.

The kitchen is well equipped, the common room is big, and the rooms and showers are clean. But the rooms feel bare, with white walls and a few old posters, so they’re not comfortable. There aren’t enough shower hooks for clothes and things, either. And even when you’re paying $20 or more, bed linen costs another $3. That’s an absolute no-go for me.

I’ve stayed here three times now and would keep recommending it to people who care about the place. The living room has a little library and is a relaxing spot, and the building has noise insulation too. The kitchen is standard. I feel like I got more than I paid for.
