Marion Weber House

I was locked out of my room late in the evening after accidentally leaving the key inside when I stepped out for ten minutes. My phone, purse, and everything else were in there too. There was never anyone at reception, so I used the intercom in the building to reach the owner. She spoke to me very aggressively, said it was my problem, that no one would come to let me in, and that I should find somewhere else to sleep or stay with “my friends.” I was in town for work and paying for the room. She ended the call with “goodnight.” I called back twice to explain that I didn't even have my phone with me, but she hung up and stopped answering. The same thing happened three times. I went to a nearby bar and asked people there to call the number posted on the hotel's front door. The same woman answered and again refused to help, saying I should have remembered my key and would have to stay elsewhere. I felt she was trying to leave me out on the street late at night, without my belongings, and was rude, dismissive, and degrading. She finally turned up two hours later. By then I was sitting outside the hotel in just a T-shirt and slippers. It was an inhuman and psychopathic way to treat someone.
