The hosts had already sent us helpful tips before we arrived, and everything went smoothly. We spent five days here in October with friends and had a fantastic time. The house is modern, thoughtfully decorated, and so well equipped that we wanted for nothing. After long bike rides, an evening in the sauna was especially relaxing.

We managed to enjoy the private beach and the sauna every evening during our stay in the first week of September. It was our third holiday in this lovely house, and the weather cooperated too. We also went on bike rides every day. Thanks to Marco for sorting out the broken living room TV so quickly. We reported it on Sunday morning, and he brought a replacement that afternoon. We'd be happy to return next year.

We already booked our next holiday at Ferienhaus Maja, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed this year's 12-day stay. The owners were easy to deal with, and always replied quickly and helpfully when we had questions. The quiet setting is surrounded by lovely scenery, and the house has plenty of material for planning trips nearby or further afield. Inside, it feels modern and carefully put together. The house, garden, and garden shed were all in excellent shape and very clean. We used the sauna built into the downstairs bathroom almost every day.

Tannenhausen, near Aurich, worked well as a base for short trips to the East Frisian Islands and around the mainland. We were there as a couple in July 2020, and had a great time at Maja by the lake. The owners were friendly, reachable, and had clearly furnished the place with care. There were indoor and outdoor games, two bikes, and the private beach and beach bar close by. When the weather was nice, we barbecued and spent the evenings on the terrace. On our only rainy day, the sauna came in handy and let us relax. Everything about the holiday house was just right for us, and we expect to book again soon.
