10/10
The restaurant and breakfast are a big part of why I like coming back to Am Schloss. Breakfast is always very good, with plenty of choice, and the atmosphere feels casually elegant. The rooms are well appointed, and the team is friendly and provides excellent service. It feels like home when I arrive.

6/10
The staff were nice, and the hotel restaurant was good. The renovated rooms looked very nice, but the old rooms in the main building felt badly dated, both in style and amenities. The single room was especially claustrophobic, with a tiny, uncomfortable bed.

The location, cleanliness, tasty food, and friendly staff all made this a perfect stay for me. We had to leave before breakfast to catch our flight, so they packed food for me and my colleague. Many thanks for the thoughtful gesture :)

8/10
The rooms are roomy and the breakfast is good. It’s a good hotel, though I took a star off because the beds were a little lacking. I was also disappointed by the TV channels. There weren’t any Dutch channels, even though the hotel is not far from the Dutch border.

8/10
Friendly staff, good breakfast, and above-average quality and service, though the continental selection was average. The single room was small but adequate, and a few things in it needed servicing. The shower flooded, there’s no air conditioning or room service, and the parking spaces out front are too narrow for normal cars. A nice hotel, but not amazing. I’d recommend it overall, about 7.5 out of 10.
