Altes Pfarrhaus

The valley views are spectacular, and the village feels wonderfully peaceful, with clean air and none of the city's noise and pollution. Our room was spacious and very clean, and even though we only stayed briefly, the owner was so kind to our little kids and made us comfortable. The food was excellent, carefully prepared with fresh fruit and vegetables and seasonal meat or fish. We really appreciated the owner's thoughtfulness and would love to return.

Dinner was excellent, usually prepared by one of the owners, but reserve ahead since there are only a few seats. The hotel is cozy and sits right in the middle of a tiny town. It's run by two Dutch guys who make a real effort to welcome you. The rooms are on the small side but have enough space, and there's parking at the hotel and across the street.

The hotel itself was amazing, with nice rooms at cheap prices. Breakfast was more like brunch, which was fine. It was small and pretty quiet, and pet friendly. The restaurant, though, had me skeptical: I waited 20 minutes just for a drink, then an hour and 13 minutes before leaving. People who came in after me had their food, and no one had even taken my order.

A small business, but the quality was great. We spent a few nights enjoying the quiet and fresh air in Eifel. Breakfast was great, and dinner was a delight. Looking forward to visiting again.
