The place is clean, modern, and in an excellent location, but getting stuck with the codes is really frustrating. It feels faceless, with no key/eis and no phone to call when you need help. There are lots of stairs up to the bedroom, so it isn’t suitable for disabled people or families with small kids. We also didn’t get extra pillows. To reach the apartments, you have to cross a long, uncovered terrace in wind, cold, rain, or snow. That’s far too much for such an expensive apartment.

I’m very disappointed with how this was handled, especially the unwillingness to help find a solution. I had booked a 3.5-week business trip, but ten days before arriving my colleagues in Leipzig told me I needed to postpone because of the Covid-19 situation. I sent the property the official letter and asked for a partial refund or different dates. They refused, saying I could still visit and that they didn’t care. Two days later Saxony announced that tourists weren’t allowed. I contacted both the property and booking.com again about a refund; booking.com tried to get me at least a voucher, but no option was accepted. I ended up losing almost 2000 Euros. Very unprofessional under those circumstances.

The location is superb, the place was very clean, and the roof top was nice. The air conditioner wasn’t powerful enough, though, and having to use stairs between the kitchen and bedroom was inconvenient.

A great spot in central Leipzig, with all the amenities you’d expect in a standard flat.
