We had breakfast every day, and it was lovely, with delicious pastries, plenty of coffee, and a nice selection of meats and cheeses. This is a small hotel in a delightful village along the Rhine. Our room slept three and looked out toward the church and the road.

We had an amazing meal. I got the “hunter” schnitzel, while my kids ordered pasta, and we shared the fried potatoes. Those were absolutely out of this world! Sit back and enjoy your meal, and be sure to get the fried potatoes as a starter.

We waited an hour to eat even though hardly anyone was there, and eventually left. The waiter was unfriendly. Don’t bother, your time is more important. Worst place ever!

The rooms are upstairs above a pleasant cafe, and the building’s after-hours entrance is upstairs too. The rooms are central, roomy, and have a good bathroom. Breakfast was a good spread for 12 Euro. The narrow stairs could be a problem for older guests or anyone with limited mobility.

The other dishes my friends ordered were fairly priced but tasted just okay. My food was decent, and the wine selection was the best part. I tried the house specialty, crispy, which tasted good, but 20 euros felt like too much for the portion. On Sunday it’s available after 12, so it’s a decent place to go when you’re hungry.
