Landhotel Zum Adler

The food was really good, and everyone on staff was very friendly. There’s also a garden where children can play.

It’s wonderfully quiet here, which was a huge bonus for me. The apartment was spotless and tidy, with excellent beds, and the owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed three nights with our three kids, all under 11, using the self-catering apartment as a base for LEGOLAND Germany, about 30 minutes away. We also visited Ulm, which is well worth a visit. We had breakfast at the hotel and dinner there on our first night. The kids loved breakfast and liked trying the different German food and drinks. The playground is small, but kept the younger ones entertained for a bit, and they were interested in the horses too. I’d happily come back. My one hesitation is the price, which felt fairly high.

The room was very clean and felt new, the beer garden was lovely, and the beer was very good. Check-in was a rough start: after our four-hour drive, we had to wait 15 minutes while the owners were busy in the beer garden. The staff were helpful and kind afterward, which eased some of that frustration. We stayed just one night, two adults and two children. It’s a good location if you’re heading to legoland, but I can’t think of another reason to visit the village. I’d recommend staying here only if you have something to do in the area.

The apartment was spacious and very pleasant. There was a construction site nearby, but it was quiet and the noise stayed pretty low. I’d gladly recommend the place and stay there again.
