The setting by the lake in the forest was idyllic. Our room was spacious, warm, and clean, and breakfast was excellent. They knew it was my partner's birthday and surprised us with sparkling wine at breakfast, which was a lovely extra.

Eight of us spent three nights here and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was friendly, the setting picturesque, and the food was wonderful.

Friendly staff and a nice location, with good value for money. Breakfast was modest, the one area that could be improved. The restaurant is closed until the end of February.

We ate here every night during our hotel stay. The food was tasty and wonderful, and the service was outstanding. We had a great time.

Great food and wines, good facilities, and lovely surroundings. It's a nice place for walking, wine tasting, sightseeing, or just relaxing. The bathroom was poky and too small, though.
